TERMS OF SERVICE

These are the key terms that apply when booking services with Happy Tails with Hannah.
A full Terms of Service document will be provided for you to read and sign before your pet’s first booking.

Health & Behaviour
  • All pets must be healthy and safe to handle. Please let me know about any illnesses, injuries, or behavioural issues before booking.

  • Dogs will only be walked off‑lead with your consent and at my discretion.

Bookings & Cancellations
  • 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Bookings cancelled with less notice may still be charged in full.

  • 48 hours’ notice is required for new bookings. Short‑notice bookings may be accepted, subject to a late booking fee and availability.

  • Weekend, bank holiday, and last‑minute bookings may incur a surcharge.

Payment & Deposits
  • Payment is due within 28 days of invoice receipt (unless paying cash or card on the day).

  • Some services (such as overnight pet sitting) may require a non‑refundable deposit to secure your dates.

​

Pet Sitting & Alone Time
  • During overnight pet sitting, pets will not be left alone for longer than 4 hours during the day and never overnight.

  • If your pet requires constant supervision, this must be discussed before booking so the right care can be arranged.

Access & Security
  • If I need a key or access code, it will be stored securely and will never be marked with your address.

  • Keys will only ever be used to provide agreed services and can be returned on request.

Emergencies & Veterinary Care
  • If your pet needs urgent veterinary attention, I will contact you immediately and take them to your chosen vet (or the nearest available).

  • The owner is responsible for all veterinary costs incurred during my care.

Photos & Updates
  • I may send photo or video updates during visits.

  • Photos will only be shared on my social media with your permission.

​

Insurance & Liability
  • I hold public liability insurance.

  • Owners remain responsible for their pet’s behaviour and for any damage or injury caused by their pet.

The full Terms of Service document will be supplied to every new client and must be signed before your pet’s first booking.
